Wonderful experience, fantastic private location with amazing views. Chris and Sarah were great hosts, everything provided you can wish for including ample firewood and kindling, charcoal for the BBQ, indoor and out door games to keep entertained, lots of nice touches inside too, battery candles, battery lights galore, USB solar charger for 2 devices. To keep warm if needed plenty of blankets , hot water bottle per bed as well :) Was a great base for sight seeing , Richmond less than 2 miles away with lovely cafes and great selections of takeaways. Highly recomend

Just returned from our 3 night break at Dale to Swale. What a setting. Words and pictures cannot properly describe just how special this place is. Firstly the location, situated in a mowed field in the middle of farmland, 10 minutes walk to a fishing lake and only 30-40 minute walk to Richmond via Eastby Hall and Abbey. We shared the accommodation with another family so we had the whole place to ourselves. The accommodation is exceptional with 3 bedrooms including a little cabin room and den which the kids loved.
The wood burning stove kept us warm at night and the tents come complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay including warm showers, stove, plates cups, cutlery etc, hot water bottles, solar-powered lights and technology charger. Outside theres a fire pit/ barbecue and patio area.
Chris and Sarah were perfect hosts and were always on hand if we needed anything.
Although the weather helped, this venue is extraordinary and we shall definitely be returning again soon.

Thanks to Chris we had a fantastic time on our two night break. Communication was excellent and the safari tents are of a very high standard. It was a real adventure for our family of 5. We couldn’t have asked for more!

The tent is a lot bigger than expected and the location is excellent. Every thing was clean and great care had been taken to make sure everything was 1st class. Chris the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a great place for children. Excellent value for money.

Such a great idea for getting away for a couple of days without the hassle of putting up your own tent. The kids were free to roam and the adults were able to relax in the knowledge that they were safe. A beautiful view and just exactly what we needed.

Richmond is literally around the corner and very handy. We enjoyed the Masham for its breweries, shops and lovely pub (White bear) which wasn't too far either.

Richmond castle, drummer boy walk, Easby Abbey , waterfall all worth a visit. The local butcher on the website is excellent. The Black Bull, just across the A1 serves lovely food.

Our first experience of glamping didn’t disappoint. Great booking process with a courtesy call and good communication before arrival. The safari tents are as described. Comfortable beds, well equipped and very clean. A very quiet and peaceful location. The children loved the freedom of the field. Highly recommended taking advantage of the local butcher delivery as per the website. Really loved our stay at Dale2Swale

Richmond is a short drive and is a lovely market town. Recommend the walks and falls by the river and the walk to Eastby Abbey from the campsite

Would highly recommend this beautiful getaway. Amazing scenery and tranquility. Loved every minute of making fires and cooking on the fire pit. Tent is very spacious and with very comfortable beds. Chris was a really friendly and responsive host and the little touches / treats were all appreciated.

The Richmond 'Treasure Trail' is a great way to get a tour of Richmond and Easby that you might not otherwise get to see the area. https://www.treasuretrails.co.uk/things-to-do/north-yorkshire/richmond

Had a great two night stay in Snipe and Grouse. Chris offered us a friendly welcome and couldn’t be more helpful when supplying extra ice packs and bagging up extra logs in case we needed them. The tents were amazing much more spacious than anticipated and the beds/duvets/pillows etc were all very comfortable we had a great nights sleep. The tents are located just a short drive/walk into Richmond town centre so were really well located. Both families had a great weekend away and would definitely recommend as a place to visit. Thanks again.

The tents come equipped with all eco friendly cleaning products and shower gels/shampoos, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots pans so you don’t need to bring these with you. If you plan on bringing food and drinks with you maybe bring an extra cool box as no fridges (this wasn’t a problem though) everything else provided was great!!
